Who We Are

" Your Journey Begins Here"

Rev. Colon Wright; Pastor

Thank you for visiting our new Internet site. As an up-to-date church it is our prayer that you encounter Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior.

We believe church is a place where we meet with God, we worship and glorify God. We also proclaim the way to become a personal friend with God.

We study God's Word because it reveals to us how to live life to its fullest.

We also find comfort and strength by being accountable to a group of people who believe the same way.

We pray for each other; for healing, financial needs, marital and family issues and everyday miracles.

We are Pentecostal, meaning, that we believe in the baptism in the Holy Ghost and speaking in tongues.

Our morning worship is a blend of hymns and contemporary songs. We enjoy lively music.

The preaching of God's Word is relevant and Bible based.

Thought to ponder:

Be holy: It’s not a suggestion!

It's our desire that you truly know if heaven is in your future.

Are you ready? This can be a little intimidating, after all, doesn't everyone go to heaven?

Good question. Let's examine what the Bible (God's Holy Word) explains to us: John 3:18-19 "He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the Name of the only begotten Son of God."

As you can see believing is key. So, what does it mean to believe? It means to make Him your Lord- The supreme ruler of your life.

Luke 6:46 explains, "why do you call Me Lord, Lord, and do not do what I say?

Obedience is another key element. To say you are saved and not obey is the suicidal abandonment of joy. "Sin" in other words. To call Him your Lord without obeying His word puts you at risk of losing it all.

Matthew 7:21f puts it this way, " Not everyone who says to me Lord, Lord will enter the kingdom of heaven, BUT he who does the will (obedience) of My Father will enter. Many will say on that day, Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your Name, and in Your Name cast out demons, and in Your Name perform many miracles? And then I (Jesus) will declare, I never knew you; depart from Me you who practice lawlessness."

Living your own way, doing your own thing just won't cut it.

Paul puts it this way in Ephesians 5:5, " For you know with certainty, that no immoral or impure person or covetous man, who is an idolater, has no inheritance in the kingdom of God."

Sin and living for yourself will keep you out of heaven!

So, what must you do?  Repent- turn from your wicked ways and follow Jesus with your whole heart. Find a Bible believing, Bible preaching church and go as often as you can.

Please feel free to contact us at 508-295-3111. We will answer your questions and send you some materials to help you get started on your new life in Christ.
